All consumer information entrusted to Artafact is kept private and confidential.
The only personal information we collect is the data participants voluntarily provide to us when registering for an Artafact research session (name, address, phone number, and email address, etc.).
This information is used only to communicate to participants logistical information about the research session and to validate mailing addresses for incentive checks.
Artafact does not retain any information about research participants unless the participant has given us direct permission to do so (for example, if the participant wishes to be notified about participation in a future study).
All information collected at registration or during a research session is collected via a secure (SSL) website. Secure websites are easily recognizable by the letter “s” following the http address in your web browser. Secure websites can also be identified by the padlock icon at the bottom of the web page.
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law in the rare occurrence wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order, or a legal process served on our website.
