How does Artafact Work?

To participate in an Artafact research session requires only a computer connected to the Internet and a standard web browser. Your computer will already have all of the necessary software to join the session. If it doesn’t you will receive an error message and a prompt to install the required software.

Requirements

  • Ensure that your computer satisfies the minimum system requirements.
  • Ensure that you are using the computer on which you will attend your session, and that is it connected to the Internet.
  • Ensure that you have a microphone, speakers or headset to take full advantage of the audio capabilities during the session. This may be optional for some so please check with the organization or instructor hosting the session.
  • Ensure that you are an administrator on your computer and can install software if needed. If you are unsure, please contact your system administrator.

That’s all you need to do! The day of the session, please join 10 minutes early, so that we may start and end on time, and follow the instructions of your moderator. We look forward to meeting you online!
